Scott Schoonover, Music Director, is a gifted musician, conductor, and choral director. In addition to his work as Music Director for Union Avenue Christian Church, he is the founder and Artistic Director of Union Avenue Opera. He also has conducted and directed other opera companies and choral ensembles, including Asheville Lyric Opera in Asheville, North Carolina, Muddy River Opera in Quincy, Illinois, Winter Opera St. Louis, The Bel Canto Chorus, and he currently directs the Missouri Women’s Chorus. Heather Buckley-Wilson, Church Administrator, is a writer, womanist and queer theology fanatic, live music devotee, musician, and travel enthusiast! She is a MDiv student, mother of four, wife, and founder of a non-traditional woman’s group called Woman is a Well which meets every Saturday. She has over 25 years of experience in administration and customer-facing roles. Stop in and see Heather onsite from 9:00am to 3:00pm on weekdays.
