Union Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

There’s no way to quite pin down the Homebuilders Class. They might be studying a book by Marcus Borg, watching videos by Tony Campolo, doing an in-depth study of the Gospel of Mark, or exploring historical Jesus scholarship.

This group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the church library for fellowship and discussion, led by facilitator Barry Kirk. All are welcome to come join the current study which is sure to challenge the head and the heart.

Through November, the group will be studying the text The Friendship of Women: The Hidden Tradition of the Bible, by Joan Chittister — an exploration of female characters in scripture and their relationships with others.
