Winter Clothing Outreach to Children

Union Avenue Christian church is partnering with Disciples Benevolent Services and other St. Louis Disciples of Christ congregations to provide winter wear for 500 needy children in St. Louis city. We will be accepting donations of child-size winter gloves and hats throughout September and October.  Donations can be placed in the box in the Fellowship Room. These donations, along with winter coats, will be distributed on the ECHO campus Saturday, Oct. 23rd.  We are also looking for volunteers who would be available to help us staff the gloves and hats table at this event on the 23rd from 9-1.
