Sunday July 25 Worship in the Park

Join us Sunday July 25 as we worship in nearby Ivory Perry Park (800 Belt Ave.)prior to the 6:00 jazz concert featuring Denise Times.  Our worship will bring together friends from Union Avenue, Westminster Presbyterian, and Pilgrim UCC as we gather at 4:30 in the park for a short worship service and a shared meal of communion. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating as well as food to share with other church members and any neighborhood friends who might be in the park that afternoon.

The evening concert is sponsored by Union Communion Ministries, a neighborhood outreach of which Union Avenue Christian is a participant and supporter.

Note: For those unable to worship with us in the park, there will be an adult Christian education offering at the church Sunday morning at 9:30 AM  followed by a short communion service at 10:30 AM.
