Agape Feast Worship May 23

Join us on Sunday morning May 23 for a special Pentecost worship in our  dining room. Our worship experience will take the form of an Agape Feast or"love meal," patterned after the form of worship practiced by the earliest followers of Christ who met in homes for a meal, a retelling of the Christian story, and the sharing of the bread and cup. We will gather around the table to join in an actual meal together as a way to remember Jesus' own practice of open table sharing and to celebrate the diversity and fellowship of Christian community. The adult and children's choirs will sing, we will celebrate our youth, children, and small group ministries, welcome new members, share communion, and enjoy an interactive message that will invite us to consider how we are each called to use our gifts in the mission of the Church.  Worship is at 10:45 AM in the Dining Room on the lower level.
