REEL FAITH: May 19 “Lars & the Real Girl”

Join us on Wednesday, May 19 (7pm) in the Fellowship Room for the next film in our Reel Faith series:  Lars and the Real Girl.

Lars, a delusional but kind loner (Ryan Gosling), buys a life-size doll over the internet and promptly falls in love with her, introducing the doll to others as his platonic girlfriend who just happens to be a missionary. His family, the townspeople, and the members of his church struggle with how to help their friend while also practicing radical love and acceptance. This offbeat and thoughtful comedy costars Patricia Clarkson. (PG-13)
