Join us for a Christmas classic!  “The Bishop’s Wife,” (1947, B&W) starring Cary Grant, David Niven, and Loretta Young, tells the story of an episcopal Bishop struggling to build a new cathedral.  His prayers for help are answered in the form of an angel (played by Cary Grant).  But things don’t go as planned when the angel starts meddling in the Bishop’s private life and possibly even falls in love with his wife.  This holiday comedy brings alive the warmth of the season while thoughtfully addressing the meaning of prayer, the importance of family, and the difference between what we sometimes value in life and what God values.  Join us for the film in the Fellowship Room at 7pm followed by a short but lively conversation.  And, as always, the popcorn is free!
