Final IPP Concert of the Summer
The 2009 Ivory Perry Park Concert Series will come to a close this Sunday, August 23, when award-winning artist CoCo Soul takes the stage at 6 p.m. The Riverfront Times called CoCo “The Soul of St. Louis” when readers selected her as “Best R&B Artist” in St. Louis in the weekly newspaper’s “Best of St. Louis” edition.
An accomplished vocalist with a commanding stage presence, CoCo is a qualified and unmatched talent with a superstar quality resume. She's shared stages with Musiq, India Arie, Dianne Reeves, Al Jarreau, Biz Markie, Morris Day & the Time among others. She’s an accomplished and respected actress throughout town and she’s made a name for herself as a founding force behind St. Louis’ Café Soul.
The festivities include activities for children and families, raffle prizes, and a selection of food and beverages available for purchase; bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the summer evening among friends. Ivory Perry Park is located at 800 N. Belt Avenue – just west of Delmar.
